Does the Wild Hare Implement System fit all ATV’s/Four Wheelers?

Yes. With the newly introduced Wild Hare ATV Implement System V.2 with Greater Adjustability for Newer and Larger ATV’s it fits all models. The V.2 model (introduced in early 2019) of our hydraulic front-end loader fits all Arctic Cat, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki, and Yamaha ATVs (among other non-name brand models). Touring models or models with nonstandard options may require some modifications, etc.

What is the Recommended amount of CC for a Quad to run the Wild Hare Implement System?

We recommend your quad have 400cc and above. If your quad is less than 400cc, contact us and we will see what we can do.

Why do we recommend 400cc minimum?

Due to the weight requirements and the overall safety, we suggest 400cc’s and above. A smaller machine may not have the power and the weight required to use the loader effectively. ATV frame construction is also taken into consideration.

How easy is it to steer with a full bucket?

It steers pretty easily with the suspension locks in place. The design of the loader transfers the weight of the loader to the center of the ATV so the front suspension doesn’t have to support the whole load. We also recommend adding a bit of air to the tires to help with the steering (12 to 14 psi).

Does the Wild Hare Implement System Include ATV Suspension Locks?

Yes. These locks literally take seconds to install and prevent the front springs from compressing. We make it simple to install, there is no need to alter the ATV’s suspension by adding heavy duty springs, shocks or any other alteration. All that is needed is our custom designed suspension locks, included with every front end loader purchase.

Why is it limited to 500 pounds lift capacity?

The Wild Hare ATV Loader is designed to lift a 500 pound maximum load.  That does not mean that each ATV can handle the full 500 pounds since ATV weights, designs, amount of counterweights used, loader mounting location, operator weight, center of gravity, geographical terrain, etc. vary and are unique to each person’s situation and use.  The operator is responsible for maintaining the control and stability of the ATV and to limit the load to a weight or size that prevents tipping or rollover.  Limit your loads to an amount that keeps your ATV stable and grounded solidly on all four wheels.

How long does it take to Mount the Wild Hare Implement System onto your ATV?

Installing the system for the first time can take 2-3 hours by yourself. After the mounting plate is in place it takes about 15-20 minutes to attach and remove the system. Our other attachments are also easy to connect and remove (generally less than 2 minutes); we believe in constructing products that are solid, yet simple and will get the job done.

What is involved in installing the loader?

The ATV requires a flat surface on the front of the quad such as a rack or storage box. There is a cross plate that bolts crosswise under the footrests of the ATV. The feet of the loader are bolted onto that cross plate. The legs of the loader are mounted onto the flat front rack or storage box surface on the front of the ATV with u bolts. The hydraulic pump is mounted on the back rack with u bolts and the thumb controls are mounted on the handle grip. Every loader comes with a manual with easy-to-follow written instructions, supported with pictures. At any time you are welcome to call us for help with setup, removal or for any other inquiries. If you have additional questions, please contact us and we will provide a short summary installation video.

Do I need to buy a separate Hydraulic pump to run the 3-point hitch?

No. The loader and the 3-point hitch are both powered from the same hydraulic pump. A one-time purchase of the hydraulic power unit allows you to operate both the loader and the 3-point hitch.

Do I need to buy everything all at once?

No. The entire system is designed to be added onto. You can start with a loader or 3-point and then later on can add the other. Then you can add each different attachment as you find a need for them around your home. The more you buy, the cheaper the freight is per item, though.

Why use an ATV Front End Loader Attachment?

  • Tractors are big and can’t fit in tighter places, like an ATV can.
  • Tractors are expensive and you might need their power for only a few tasks – not reason enough to buy a tractor but reason enough to want one, at times.
  • Tractors will tear up your land, whereas quads won’t (necessarily).
  • If you’re sick of using a wheel barrow.
  • Allows one quad to do the work of many machines.
  • The list could go on, these are just a few examples…..

Is this the Same ATV Front Loader System that was sold by Concord Equipment?

Yes; however, we are not the Concord Equipment. We are Wild Hare Manufacturing and we purchased the rights to manufacture the hydraulic ATV front end loader and accessories from the company that was formally known as Concord Equipment. We introduced a new and updated version we call V.2 that has greater adjustability to fit larger and more powerful ATVs. The overall concept, however, is the same.

What makes this ATV front loader different from the rest?

Full hydraulics. Instead of a winch system, our product uses a hydraulic pump that hooks up to a deep cycle battery (not included). This gives it powerful force when going up and down, unlike a winch system that only has power when raising and weight when lowering. It works great for higher lifting, scraping and back dragging. You will feel the difference!

Is there a warranty with your ATV accessories?

Yes. A 12-month product warranty applies to the workmanship and materials of our products from the day they’re delivered to the original purchaser. Only the original purchaser is qualified to request warranty-related repairs or replacements.

Important Notes:

  • The speed of your quad should not exceed 5 MPH with attachment in place.
  • Be sure to check with your dealer. If your quad is under warranty, our product may void it.
  • Be sure the ATV you’re using is 400 cc and above
